Anand Gopal is the President's Chair of Information Systems and Innovation at Nanyang Business School. Previously, he served as the Dean's Professor of Information Systems at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. His research interests are broadly in technology platforms, contracts and entrepreneurship. He has specific projects in technology-based entrepreneurship, secondary markets for tech products, mobile platforms and healthcare.

In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, research in the field of Information Systems (IS) is more impactful and globally relevant than ever. In this session, Prof. Anand Gopal, Senior Editor at Information Systems Research (ISR), will share his perspectives on how to successfully navigate the publication process in leading IS journals. Drawing on his extensive editorial and scholarly experience, Prof. Gopal will discuss what distinguishes high-impact research, how to position manuscripts to resonate with editors and reviewers, and strategies for developing a strong theoretical contribution.
